Guest reputation
Tripadvisor ranking: 2 of 2 on Tokoriki Island, Fiji
Common praise
- Staff feel like family; the welcome song and farewell ceremony come up again and again, with lots of honeymoon praise
- Excellent snorkelling on the reef flat out front (parrotfish, juvenile reef sharks), with beautiful sea views and sunsets
- The Indian restaurant Curcuma and the meal plans are recommended
- Sea-view / sunset photo posts that 'really feel like a holiday'; generous welcome gifts for Marriott Titanium members
- Breakfast at the main restaurant (including Chinese steamed buns) and the welcome/farewell ceremonies are praised
Common complaints
- Dated room furniture / mattresses; many reviews call for a renovation
- Mediocre soundproofing in terraced / connecting rooms
- Isolated case (August 2026): cleanliness of the pool / lounger cushions and a construction site by the tennis court were criticised, the all-inclusive ends at 21:00, and a US$3 per person per day donation was automatically added to the bill (corrected after a complaint)
- A highly liked post, 'the Sheraton with the worst experience': small grounds with nothing to do after two days, return boat tickets of about ¥1200-1300, a high share of connecting rooms with poor soundproofing, and member benefits hard to redeem
- Seaweed on the beach, and ocean-view rooms sit close to the water at high tide; rented snorkel gear is occasionally poor quality
Tripadvisor 4.4/5 (860 reviews, 2nd of 2 on Tokoriki Island) and Google 4.2/5 (670) are positive overall: praise centres on the staff, snorkelling on the reef flat out front and sunset views, while complaints centre on dated rooms, poor soundproofing in the terraced rooms and inconsistent maintenance. Xiaohongshu has heavy coverage with clearly divided opinions - lots of photo posts, but also a highly liked 'worst experience' post complaining about the small grounds, expensive boat transfers and hard-to-redeem member benefits. It is on the affordable end for the Mamanuca islands, but you have to accept dated facilities.

- Speedboat, about 120 minutes. From Nadi International Airport to Port Denarau, then a ferry or speedboat to the island: the public ferry takes about 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours, while a private charter takes about 40 minutes; at low tide you wade ashore, and a helicopter transfer is available at extra cost. Xiaohongshu guests put the return boat fare at roughly ¥1,200–1,300.
- Does Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji have a house reef? How is the snorkelling?
- House-reef snorkelling: Good. The near-shore reef flat is rich in fish; at low tide you have to wade 80-100 m to the reef edge, and gear rental is limited by wind, waves and tides.
- Is Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji good for kids?
- Children of all ages are welcome, and there is a kids club (ages 4–12). Reaching the island takes a one- to two-hour boat ride and a wade ashore, so bring life jackets for small children; some guests found the kids' club staff uneven and rainy-day activities thin.
